The Boston Marathon is currently underway and the results are constantly being updated on the official site (and yes, we do have them right below as well).
What's rather interesting is the fact that one of the particpants this year, Mr Jason Jacobs, has deliberately dressed himself up as a iPhone. The reason for such a showing and sporting enthusiasm?
Well, apparently Jacobs developed the application called "Run Keeper" which integrates the concept of tracking activities such as cycling, running and (yes) walking using the iPhone's 3G Global Positioning System. And instead of promoting the apps via conventional media or blasting a post to a huge crowd of bloggers on popular social media websites, Jacobs decided to literally walk (or run) the talk to prove the effectiveness of the application.
Talk about a great workout!
